As DH was plowing between the third and fourth row he kept saying that he felt a piece of rock or something. Well it turns out that there was this big piece of cement slab as you can see below. Well we did end up having to get our helpful neighbor to bring over his big red tractor to pull this slab out of our garden. No wonder last planting our plants kept falling over on this section of the garden. We could not figure out why. Well this is why, this big piece of cement. I told DH that this would now be his pouting stone. So he better behave. LOL. I guess I better go make a sign so he doesn't forget where he will be sent if he misbehaves.
Hope we get some rain soon, well maybe after I plant, that would be helpful.Hugs :)

Wow! Good for y'all getting this done. We are still receiving snow. I hope we can find a neighbor to plow our garden.
Dang! That is one big stone! :D I would so love to have a big garden. We grew up with one, as both my Grandfather and Uncle kept gardens. Nothing like fresh veggies straight from the garden. I hope it goes well, you will have to take pics for us as it grows.

Hi there....just read your comment on my blog! I'm familiar with that area between Sealy and Richmond....I grew up in Lake Jackson and traveled on Hwy 36 (and surround roads) many, many times. Still have an aunt that lives in Sealy (and their COUNTRY house, as if Sealy isn't country enough)is in Hallettsville! LOL!

Hi Irma - I wish we had a "Little Green Thing"! My husband has a riding mower. I wonder if he could buy one of those plowing attachments. It really makes your garden rows look so professional. I'm looking for a good used tiller. We tilled our ground up and did all our plowing by hand AGAIN this year. I'm not doing that again. I WILL find a tiller before next year!!! Irma you are so funny! That is a nice big plot for a garden you have. I hope I can plant a small garden this year. We still have a lot of snow on the ground so will be another 2 months before plants can go in the ground.
