The Garden is Growing

The plants are growing! As you can see the tomatoes and cucumber plants are starting to stretch. In the back ground you can see the onions growing (all 200) ha! ha! I still need to do some weeding, but that seems to be a never ending job. We have also been trying to clean around the yard and get rid of a whole bunch of items that need to be gone. The weather has been so wonderful, in the 80's with a cool breeze.

Well, it's time to go back outside and do some weeding in the garden.

Irma - thanks for coming by - your garden is really growing. I have a question - do you grow your cucumbers up on the wire and let them climb? I think that's a great idea. Dad always grew his on the ground, and I was going to do that too, but I wondered if it might be better to get them up off the ground. Good idea! I think I have about 200 onions too. We ate some of them green yesterday - they were finally big enough. Just perfect - sweet and not hot! Take care - Vickie
